The Young and the Restless Tuesday, September 30 Update: Billy’s in the Dark – Jill’s Urgent News – Tessa Plays Defense

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for Tuesday, September 30, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be in the dark while Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) gets some urgent news. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will also play defense, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

First on Tuesday’s show, it looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make their temporary alliance official.

That’ll apparently lead to some conflict between Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’ll push Diane to get with the program.

This could be the only path to truly beating Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), so Nikki will support it despite wrestling with some fears of her own.

Speaking of fears, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have some when Tessa updates her on a new plan to retrace Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) steps and find out exactly what went down at her former hotel.

Although Sharon will question if this is really the right strategy, Tessa will defend it and intend on launching her investigation with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) soon enough.

Over with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), she’ll make a sneaky video call to Jill and alert her to some trouble back in Genoa City.

Sally will acknowledge that her love for Billy runs deep, but she’ll also have an urgent crisis to report.

After Sally explains what happened with Billy, Cane and Jack, she may think Jill is the only one who can come clean up the mess.

Billy is being stubborn, but he needs his mom and could reconnect with Jill if he’d just put in some effort.

Whether Jill funds Abbott Communications or not, Sally may see the opportunity for Billy and Jill to fix what’s broken between them.

However, you can bet Billy won’t like it when he inevitably finds out Sally summoned Jill without telling him.

Since Jack will also want Jill back in GC to see for herself what Cane’s truly up to, she’ll head back to town in the coming episodes.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy and Sally have more friction brewing as a result, so don’t miss their next fight.
