‘The Young and the Restless’ Sends Out “Save the Date” to the Wedding of Cricket and Danny: Find Out When The Couple Will Tie the Knot
The storied romance of The Young and the Restless Cricket (Christine) Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) has been a part of the fabric of The Young and the Restless all the way back to 1984, when then teenage model first met and fell for young rock star.
After being married once in 1990 in a lush wedding in Hawaii, divorcing in 1994, (thanks to the machinations of Phyllis), it has taken decades for them get it all back together again! Back in July of this year, Danny proposed to Cricket, and while they have been on his world tour together, and in and out of Genoa City, Cricket and Danny’s wedding date is now set.

Ahead of the “I do’s,” Lauralee Bell has been running a voting contest for which wedding dress of three options Cricket should wear when she walks down the aisle. All three contenders were designed by Y&R costume designer, Mandi Line, and her team.

Mandi Line said of the two finalists: for dress finalist one: “It may look simple in bodycon, but when she walks down that aisle, it will be the glitz and the glam of Genoa City.” For dress finalist two, “How do you combine rock ’n’ roll, boho chic, ethereal and angel? Oh, that would be dress No. 2. Simple, gorgeous, not over the top but definitely made a statement when she walked through the door.”
