The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that there are three ways Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) sinister side could come out now that B&B’s set up a villainous setback. Will Thomas revert to his old twisted tendencies and cause some serious drama?
In the September 3 episode, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) had a conversation about Thomas’ troubled past.
Although Taylor would hate to see Thomas have another setback, she acknowledged that she’d be there for him if he did.
Li also hoped that nothing would happen to trigger Thomas’ old issues, so there are some warning signs here.
Of course, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) expressed concern as well since Thomas is feeling so lost right now.
It’s clear that Thomas is lonely and struggling to cope both personally and professionally.
Ridge and Taylor’s botched reunion may be the last straw that pushes Thomas over the edge. Thomas himself said he couldn’t handle it, so he may be proven right.
If that’s the case, there are three ways B&B might send Thomas off the rails, so let’s talk about some sinister story options.
1) Thomas sets a horrible trap for Brooke
If Thomas blames Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) for Taylor and Ridge’s renewed romance falling apart, he could go after her for revenge.
Thomas might also believe that if he can just get Brooke out of the way, he can get things back on track for his parents.
We could certainly imagine Thomas sabotaging Brooke somehow or even going as far as kidnapping her.
It all depends on how low the writers want to take Thomas as he sets a potential Brooke trap.
2) Thomas’ Hope obsession comes roaring back
We should also consider the possibility that Thomas’ obsession with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will become a problem again.
Thomas may fixate on Hope once he’s spinning out over Taylor and Ridge’s split, so that could unleash some mayhem in her life, too.
3) Thomas makes Luna pay for almost eliminating Steffy
Another interesting story option might be for Thomas and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) to become unhinged opponents.
Luna tried to wipe Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) off the map, so Thomas may not be willing to let that slide once he finds out she’s alive.
It’d be fun to watch Thomas go up against Luna and leave her scrambling since she’s not used to someone stooping to her level!
