The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) is NOT leaving B&B despite some made-up claims floating around online. Supervising Producer Casey Kasprzyk called a false cancer story “pure trash” and pushed fans to totally ignore it.
The trouble started when one site published an article about Kaye exiting B&B due to a liver cancer diagnosis.
None of that was true according to Kasprzyk, who felt the need to address this since some people bought the bogus buzz.
“We never comment on rumors like this, but there’s one in particular about Thorsten Kaye that I’d like to state is completely false.
Pure trash created for clicks and gossip,” Kasprzyk said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
It turns out Casey Kasprzyk’s own mother got in touch with him about it along with plenty of other viewers.
Since the phony story was causing a bit of a stir, Kasprzyk wanted to set the record straight and offer reassurance.
“To the many fans, including my mom, that reached out… please ignore this disgusting made up article,” Kasprzyk said in another X post.
It’s certainly a relief to know Kaye isn’t facing a cancer crisis – nor is he departing the show for medical reasons.
Casey Kasprzyk put viewers’ minds at ease with his latest news, so it’s good to know Ridge is sticking around.
On a happier note, Thorsten Kaye no doubt has some powerhouse performances coming up due to his current love triangle storyline.
Ridge is engaged to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), but he’s pining for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and feeling destiny pull him back in her direction.
It’s just a matter of time until Ridge surrenders to that pull and shatters Taylor’s heart in the process.
Viewers can watch Ridge navigate the joy of a Brooke reunion and the despair of hurting Taylor all over again, so things will get messy for him in the coming months.
