Sister Wives Season 20 is definitely happening and a premiere date and trailer dropped for it. If you hoped that Kody Brown and Robyn would not be on another season of the TLC show, you might feel disappointed. Read on for all the details.
The Premiere
TLC dropped the news this week that Season 20 will definitely take place and it premieres on Sunday, September 28. The trailer on YouTube opened with Meri Brown laughing and looking fabulous. She told the camera, “I have never done speed dating before.” Fans will see her potentially hook up with a guy named Ron.
Meanwhile, Kody wants to make it better with his former first wife. “I would love healing with Meri,” he said. Then again, he also said the same thing about Christine Brown and Janelle. Unfortunately for him, Christine said, “I don’t want to talk to Kody ever again.” However, fast-forward a bit and she and Kody Brown did get together to talk some kind of reconciliation.
Surprisingly, Christine wants to go a step further and make a bromance with Kody and her new husband, David Woolley, who isn’t interested, initially. She told him, “You and Kody could hang out.” Nevertheless, it seems that the two men did hook up and went to a racetrack together.
Other Developments In The Trailer
Janelle Brown gets some support from Meri which seems nice. Janelle told Meri, “We talked about the spiritual divorce and I think I’m ready,” which is old news for Sister Wives viewers. Anyway, Meri replied, saying, “I love that you’re doing this, Janelle.”
Of course, Robyn Brown is back as well, and the trailer showed her and Kody going back to another old theme: that of getting in another wife. Not that anyone ever bought into that in the past. Still, she heard that Kody got approached. He told her, “I got another one of those emails from some woman asking sort of like, to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family.”
Coyote Pass, the never-ending saga plays out some more, and although fans think Robyn always got the lion’s share she doesn’t think so. She said, “This is bulls**t,” adding, “I’m not selling this land until everything is perfectly fair and we do this the right way. Sorry!”
Oh well, she was in for a bit of a fight as Meri and Janelle took themselves there for a confrontation, and Janelle wasn’t taking any BS lying down. She told Meri Brown, “It’s the final showdown.”
