General Hospital Thursday, August 14 Update: Michael Plays Family Fix-It – Drew’s Cold Response – Curtis’ Mystery Invite

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, August 14, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will play family fix-it while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has a cold response to someone else across town. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will also extend a mystery invite, so there’ll be a lot happening in Port Charles.

For starters, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will come through with some advice for Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), who’ll get a nudge to follow his heart and prove he’s the man for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Now that Curtis has decided to work on his marriage to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), he’ll deliver a mysterious invitation at GH.

Curtis may have a romantic surprise in store for Portia, but something tells us it exactly won’t be smooth sailing from here!

Over with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’ll catch Laura Collins (Genie Francis) off guard.

Sonny will decide to put himself at risk and make sure Laura stays protected as a result.

“You’re sacrificing your own security for me?” Laura asks in Thursday’s preview video.

While Sonny updates Laura on his choice, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will discuss how they can get through to Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and start some real family bonding.

Brook Lynn and Dante will even get some help from Michael, who may overstep a bit for a good cause.

Michael will give Gio a pep talk and most likely put in a good word for Brook Lynn, who desperately wants to build a mother-son connection.

Even if Gio isn’t ready for that yet, Michael will play family fix-it on Thursday’s show and push for some form of a thaw.

Will Gio eventually agree to hear Dante and Brook Lynn out?

In the park, Willow will bump into Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who’ll have some words of encouragement.

“I can’t tell you how much it means to hear you say that,” Willow admits to Chase in Thursday’s GH preview clip.

Although Willow lost her cool with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), Chase will feel like he knows Willow’s heart.

It sounds like Chase will sing Willow’s praises and once again predict that she’s going to be reunited with her kids down the road.

Until then, Chase will spill to Willow and perhaps fill her in on Drew’s latest actions at the Quartermaine mansion.

Chase may argue that Drew’s out of control and stun Willow with the news that he wanted Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) hauled off in handcuffs.

After Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) finds out Drew’s blocking Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) from Danny, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and her daughters, she’ll be furious.

However, Molly will try to put her anger aside and hope she can talk some sense into Drew.

Despite Molly’s attempt at a calm and rational discussion, Drew will stand his ground on the Davis family ban – at least for now.

General Hospital spoilers say Drew will feel like packing up Scout and moving to D.C immediately is the right call, so he’ll respond coldly to Molly.
