General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a pivotal role has been recast, so let’s talk about who’s showing up with a new face. It’s someone with ties to Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) research – or at least the delivery of his progress so far!
Carolyne Maraghi previously played Greta, the courier who picked up the backpack Dalton left for her at the Metro Court pool.
Of course, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) helped Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) track Greta to Croatia, so she’s been a crucial part of the story.
That’s why when Maraghi apparently wasn’t available for more scenes, the show moved forward with recasting Greta.
According to SOD, Cecily Elliott will step into the role of Greta during the week of August 18-22, so GH fans will be eager to see her spin on the character.
However, Greta may not live very long since she’s the one who led the WSB to the Five Poppies Resort.
The mystery boss surely won’t approve if he gets updates, so he could order Pascal (Marc Forget) or another employee to get rid of Greta permanently.
Greta might try to bargain for her life, but will she be able to survive whatever’s in store for her?
There are surely plenty of other couriers who could take Greta’s place, so she may find herself deceased soon enough.
The longer all the Five Poppies drama plays out, the more dangerous things are going to get!
It’s clear that some sinister secrets are buried on the compound, so Greta could pay with her life for putting those secrets in jeopardy.
Josslyn and Vaughn have already faced some danger of their own thanks to Colette Moreau (Mercedes Lopez Renard) blowing their cover as WSB agents.
Although Josslyn managed to save Vaughn from a grim fate, there’ll be some other close calls while they’re still on the premises.
Josslyn’s mission to score info from Britt could lead to disastrous news.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) could land in some peril as well now that he’s made contact with Britt, so there are multiple ways for more chaos to erupt at the Five Poppies Resort!
