‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jack Is Trying To Prevent Global Disaster
Jack has devised a team and has a plan to stop Cesar Fasion’s (Anders Hove) successors from succeeding with their cold fusion project.
While we understand Carly’s mama-bear instincts to protect her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), from potential harm, what she does may have a direct impact on Port Charles.
The villains in town could soon get the opening they need to set off a dangerous turn of events. We know that whatever Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is doing in that lab is very shady.
Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) old boss, Pascal (Marc Forget), is also involved. Plus, Britt could be facing numerous threats.
Not only could she lose her medicine if her research fails, but she could even be sent to Steinmaur if Brennan discovers that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) double-crossed him.
Britt was likely forced into this situation against her will. While Carly may not care for Britt, Jason definitely does. Not to mention, Britt once saved Joss’s life from “the Hook,” which Carly seems to have conveniently forgotten.
Too many characters are involved in this mess to count. Jack is actually trying to prevent global disaster on a massive scale. However, Carly is doing what she always does. She leaps first and then looks afterward.
Carly could also be throwing Jack to the wolves with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) involved. While she may not care about what happens to Jack anymore, she obviously doesn’t want innocent people to get hurt, namely her own child.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Is Acting on Impulse to Save Her Kid
Brennan is trying to keep Dalton, Sidwell, and others from impending doom. Valentin is encouraging Carly to make a hasty, potentially ill-advised move because of his own fixation on revenge against Brennan.
Yes, Brennan lied to Carly. Yes, he recruited her daughter for hazardous work that has led her down a dangerous path. However, Carly may be in over her head.
Carly isn’t strategic like her ex-husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Jason, as she tends to act solely on impulse. Jason would no doubt tell her to take a deep breath and count to ten.
Look, we all love Carly. But she needs to stop and think for a minute. She’s operating on extreme anger and zero self-control.
She’s following Valentin blindly. Jack has a legitimate concern about what could possibly happen if Faison’s final project goes off without a hitch.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin Won’t Hesitate to Take Jack Out
The WSB is no joke. Carly is playing with fire. We don’t believe for a nanosecond that Jack would kill Carly. No matter what mistakes he’s made, Brennan is madly in love with Carly.
She almost died from polonium poisoning, which happened because she drank poisoned champagne that was meant for Jack, CURTESY OF VALENTIN BTW.
Jack was not only horrified, but we saw the man by her bedside telling her that she had his heart. We highly doubt he’s ever felt this way about anyone else.
Brennan may be ruthless, but we highly doubt he would ever hurt Carly the way that Valentin has convinced Carly that he would. Plus, Valentin will kill Jack the first chance he gets. He’s a loose cannon.
That said, Carly is taking a massive risk by targeting Brennan right now. Considering Faison’s history, her actions could possibly lead to global destruction.
