General Hospital spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) can’t seem to stop making enemies wherever he goes.
The list of people who hate the Congressman at the moment in incredibly high. And the newest to make that list is Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Alexis has done her best to keep the peace with Drew, despite his many questionable actions. But Drew’s newest moves may force Alexis to go to a very dark place in order to save her granddaughter Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).
Sam McCall died last fall
Alexis’ daughter Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) dies last fall, leaving two children behind. Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was fathered by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). But Scout’s father is Drew, Jason’s twin.
The original plan after Sam died was to keep all the children together at the Quartermaine mansion.
That’s the whole reason Jason moved back to the estate. But Drew took Scout out of the mansion to live with him and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Scout doesn’t get to visit her other relatives much as Drew has been purposefully keeping her away.
Danny Morgan made a big mistake
Missing Scout, Danny went to Scout’s summer camp. When Scout requested that Danny take her to the Quartermaine mansion, Danny did so even though he doesn’t have authorization to do so.
This set Drew off and he was almost successful in having Danny arrested. Luckily Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) refused since all Danny did was take Scout to visit her family.
But this whole situation has made Drew even more determined to keep the rest of Scout’s family away from her, including Alexis.
Drew has been planning on moving to Washington DC for month and it seems like he’s about to make good on those plans. Of course, he plans to take Scout with him.
Alexis isn’t going to stand for that, and will most likely try to file for custody of her granddaughter.
But she knows that most likely won’t be successful so Alexis may believe she has no choice but to take more drastic action. There’s every possibility that Drew will end up murdered in the near future, and Alexis is just one of many possible suspects.
